   As I consider the students of Covenant Academy, I am reminded of Philippians 2: 1-2 “If therefore there is any encouragement in Christ, if there is any consolation of love, if there is any fellowship of the spirit, if any affection and compassion, make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose.”
    This verse beautifully describes how we should be about the fulfillment of our mission at Covenant Academy; “to teach for mastery and train for servant leadership in the knowledge of God”.  We must prepare our children to be a holy people, to walk in the spirit fully distinctive from the rest of the world.  We must protect, develop, educate, and equip our children to be fully devoted followers of Christ.  To be successful in this we must be “united in spirit and intent on one purpose”.
