WELCOME TO THE LOGIC SCHOOL (7th-8th)
Journey from Childhood to Young Adulthood.
Logic students build upon the structure and fundamentals learned during the Grammar School. This second phase of the Trivium leverages a child's innate curiosity to explore the world. Students at this age (middle school years) are prone to debate and arguments more than in the early years because of their naturally developing curiosity. The Logic School acts as the bridge from childhood to young adulthood, emphasizing the cultivation of a Christ-honoring life and the development of critical thinking skills. In the classical education approach, students are equipped with the essential tools for critical thinking. We seek to establish students in the laws of logic as they study Bible, history, science, English, mathematics, and computer technology. Covenant’s rich discussion-driven environment lays the groundwork for wisdom in reasoning and argumentation.
